The 2025 summer classes are here! June 7th - July 12th (weekly)
Founded in the summer of 2024, The Personal Finance Project is a long-term initiative committed to empowering students with essential personal finance knowledge and financial literacy skills. Our mission is to make financial education accessible, engaging, and practical, free of cost and available to all students through both virtual and in-person experiences.
We offer a wide range of topics tailored to different skill levels, including budgeting, saving, credit management, taxes, investing, and real-world economics. Whether students are just beginning or ready for more advanced financial concepts, our programs are designed to meet them where they are and support their ongoing growth.
At the core of our mission is a belief that money is not something to fear, but a powerful tool that, when understood, can help students take control of their futures. We aim to help young people build a personal and confident relationship with money, one rooted in clarity, responsibility, and purpose.
Through year-round workshops, school partnerships, community programs, and online learning, The Personal Finance Project is dedicated to creating a financially literate generation equipped to navigate life with confidence and capability.
Over the summer of 2025, the mission of The Personal Finance Project is to help kids learn about personal finance, financial literacy skills, and sharpen their knowledge in the field for use in daily life or apply this knowledge in real-life applications, free of cost. In order to provide the most in-demand classes, the webinar series includes online sessions over six weeks to provide you with the ultimate package of financial literacy information and knowledge. From fundamental concepts like saving and budgeting to understanding real-world applications of financial literacy and economics, this webinar series class will cover a wide range of topics!
Additionally, we are planning to host in-person sessions at schools, start chapters, and potentially create a long-term blog, so stay tuned for that!
We are collaborating with the Arizona Council on Economic Education (ACEE) this year to create credible content, host guest speakers, and have maximum outreach. They not only host the Personal Finance and Economics Challenges for Arizona, but also collaborate with the Arizona Department of Education, which distributes the Seal of Personal Finance to eligible seniors as part of their diploma. With the same goal, we aim to teach kids about these amazing opportunities as well as the skills to earn these awards! For more information, please access the links below.
